We are so proud that John Sandoval (Class of 2014) has been hired as a shipwright at Schooner Creek Boat Works in Portland, OR.

John graduated from the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding with an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Contemporary Wood Composite Boatbuilding. He distinguished himself as a student particularly in the building of a cedar strip cold molded Grandy. After graduation he was hired by the school to help complete the Bartender that the Contemporary Program students built.
