Grounds Work Parties
Join us for volunteer shifts every fourth Saturday, April through September. Choose a two-hour shift: 9:30–11:30 AM or 11:30 AM–1:30 PM.
NWSWB has an 8-acre campus that needs a lot of love — and we need your help to make it beautiful! If you love working outside, cleaning up invasive species, and learning about your environment, this volunteer opportunity is a great fit for you. We are restoring five zones on campus which includes cleaning up and building pathways, removing invasive species, and planting natives.
Work parties are organized on every fourth Saturday of every month, April through September at our lower Port Hadlock campus. We have two-hour shifts, 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Volunteers may sign up for one or both of those shifts as you please, and the max number of volunteers per shift will be capped at six.

Work parties are organized and led by NWSWB AmeriCorps service member Stella Stretch. Stella can be reached at [email protected]. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
